Volunteer Shifts for This Year’s Fundraiser

We have several volunteer shifts available for our fundraiser this year. Please read the following instructions carefully to understand each role and its expectations.

Registration Table/Check-In:
Assist at the registration table using an iPad to check in attendees. - one of our team members will check in with the volunteers who sign up before the event to ensure understanding of the program being used to 

Ushers:
Help guide guests around the venue, including directing them to food stations, bar, and seating areas. This role requires the ability to stand and navigate stairs throughout the event. 

Dress Code 

Business casual with a La Soupe T- Shirt. If you do not have a shirt we will provide one for you. 

Breaks:
After the initial rush, you’ll have time to step away and enjoy the event. Just ensure your station is covered by a buddy before taking a break. - these roles will need to be available again at the end of the event to assist in handing out goodie bags to the guests as they leave. 

 

Kitchen Team:
Rotate between tasks such as plating food, serving at tables, delivering dishes, clearing tables, managing trash, and general clean-up. Enjoy some time to eat and have fun while supporting our kitchen team!

Physical Requirements:
The kitchen roles require standing for the duration of the event, navigation of stairs, and the ability to lift moderately heavy items.

Dress Code

Comfortable and functional with La Soupe T-Shirts, If you do not have one we will provide one for you! 

You will also need to have closed-toed shoes and proper hair restraints (hat, bandanna, or hairnet)
